New Release at Lady Victoria's!

Hi lovelies! Just released my first animation for my shop, the Basic Chest Press. It's not the first ever animation I've uploaded, but it certainly is the first one I'm selling in my shop. I'm very excited and happy to do so. Come try it in the stand! It is called barbell press in the stand. Happy weekend all! What's going on with Lady V?

Hi lovelies! So sorry for not updating for awhile. I have been busy with animations, custom animations. The halloween sim is finished. It looks great. I have a vendor set up there. The LM is http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lepusia/55/99/22 . Once you arrive, go to the red tp pad looks like a red paw print, click to sit, and click on Town Corner. From there, go to the Hardware Store and you'll find my vendor in there, right next to Dandara Swords's vendor. She sells Harry Potter stuff. Very cool! I like Harry Potter, what about you? I have seen the second to last movie. Has the last last movie been released yet? I don't always keep track of what movie comes out in theaters or on DVD, you know? I hope to release a pose soon. Yes, I miss releasing poses. And I like choosing the outfit and background texture for the product picture. I have not forgotten. Poses are how I got started! :-) Until soon. Busy and a quick update!

Hi lovelies! I am almost done with the last and fourth animation for that halloween sim I talked about last time. This last one is a bit of a challenge. I will just say this, it's a walk animation. To me, a walk is one of the hardest animations to create. It's maybe 75% finished. Hope my client, Aldora, likes it! I intend to finish it days before October 1st. The sim will be open to the public sometime in October. I'll put up the LM here when she says it's ok. Can't wait! Besides that, I have been blogging for the UWA. You can find the link on the sidebar. This is my latest post for the blog. I'll release a new pose soon, I hope. I've been really busy, but a pose shouldn't take me as long as an animation. A pose has only 2 frames while an animation can have any number of frames from 5 frames to even 900 frames, maybe more. It can get complicated, but if you know what you want...it's not so bad. That's all for now! Namaste. Vic G...

Animation Update

Hi lovelies! Sorry for not updating soon enough. It has been busy with me. I have 2 bits of news though. They concern the animations I made. I am done with the 2 I told you about, however they weren't up to par. Though with animations, if you don't have an actual model to go by...it's a hit or miss thing. The "crazy" animation, was probably closest to being acceptable. But, it was just a little stiff. I will put it out into a pose stand in a few days. The bellydance move was not satisfactory. It had snake arms, some swivelling, and belly thrusting, but I guess it wasn't enough. I'm thinking of making my own belly dance animations for my own pleasure. I'd like to get more movement in the legs...travelling across the room or at least a few meters. It is a challenge but a fun one! Perhaps someday I'll make another crazy animation. I might have more ideas up my sleeve. ;-) I will try to post again soon. I need to transfer some files to thi...

Animation Creation

Hi lovelies! Guess what? I have started making animations. I'm working on 2, both are custom animations. The most challenging one is a belly dance animation. It must be sultry, sensuous...and realistic! I'm using Qavimator. I'm still learning Blender. Fortunately, I know a little about belly dancing technique. It helps me to watch youtube videos, but I also know how it's supposed to look when I try the move myself. What animator doesn't try the pose/animation while they're creating? When I finish, I'll put it in a animation stand at my store. I'm so excited to see how it'll turn out! Just a cool illustration I found by googling belly dance. Go Back To This Site

Animation in Blender?

So many people probably recoil in fear when they hear the word "Blender" as in the sculpting 3d program that you can get free from blender.org. It is hard to install and it's even harder to use. But all is not lost. If you look for blender tutorials, you can find some really helpful ones. Lately I talked to a fellow animator who said I should try to use Blender to create animations. So, I will try. It seems somewhat easier than what I had expected. So if I don't release anything soon, you can be sure I'm struggling in Blender. Mesh is coming to the maingrid, Agni, and I want to know how to create with Blender by then.I still don't fully understand about mesh, but what I'm hearing is that it will be more expensive to upload mesh objects. Here's a link to a blog by Nalates. If I can handle GIMP and SL viewers, I think I can handle Blender. :-)

Welcome to Lady Victoria's blog!

Hi Lovelies! My name is Victoria Lenoirre, I own Miss Vic's Store and the group is Miss Vic's Store Group. That group can be found in search or from my groups if you click on my profile inworld. I am also working on some signs...like a VLC signboard and some directional signs that say "New", "Free", "Animations", etc. I have 3 poses out...star gazing, sofapose1, lyingonsidecradle. All 3 are at my shop in Verona Beach . I am working on animations and more poses. Plus, I finally figured out how to make sculpties with Precision Sculptor. I like to work with programs offworld. And one last thing, I plan to set up a store at marketplace. I'll post the link as soon as I can! :-) I will post some pics later. I hope you are all well! Take care, Vic
