Statuesque Sit Unveiled

Hello lovelies! Just days ago I put out this gorgeous pose in all my stores. I hope you guys love it as much as I do! I created this at least a month ago, but I wasn't sure what to do with the arms. I always seem to talk about the arms. But to me, no pose is complete without the right arm positioning. I was just thinking last night how making poses is like making sculptures. You have to work at making the figure stand just so to get the desired effect. When you're done, you have a masterpiece! Though with poses, the art can only be seen when an avatar is sitting on the pose ball. It's all art to me. Speaking of art, my article about Sabrinaa Nightfire will soon be ready to be read in Palais SL Magazine. I wrote it in honor and remembrance of her. She was such a talented, bright woman and artist in SL. She really had an awe-inspiring presence. Once the magazine is available to the public, I will let you know. I am just so touched and humbled by all the gifts I saw at Erato o

Unassuming Pose

Days ago I released it at most of my stores. It's not at The Bottoms sim. That store is under construction. I am redecorating my stores though. I can't seem to attach pics. It's a standing pose. Arms crossed and one leg crossed over the other. It's a fun photo pose. I put it in my pose stands. I hope to eventually have one pose stand to sell with all the poses in it to be used with a photo studio. There are so many out there, I know. But I could just make the poses. I'm also thinking of an AO. I took an AO class at NCI. But we'll see. Have a great weekend!

Lady Victoria Store updates

First off, I wanted to say that I did not give up my store at Verona Beach. I really didn't want to, but I felt that I wasn't benefitting from the location. It's a nice sim and there are some cool texture stores near my store, but it was just so quiet. All my advertising hasn't really helped at Verona. However, I talked to rosal, who manages the sim, and she and Funloving convinced me to stay. I'll give it one more try. I reduced prims I'll be using, but that's okay for now. Sometimes you got to cut back. Besides, I have some low prim vendors. All I need to do now is add some decorations and furniture to the store. I have plenty of room. My second bit of news is that my friend, Henrik Abruzzo, has let me put a vendor and 2 pose stands in his store. They're on the first floor in one room to the right of the main room. He gots 50% of any sales I make. I think it's a pretty good deal. And I just love his store and the ambience. He's a great guy. Joi

See this view! Pose released!

Hi lovelies! As of today, you can now buy See this view! pose. It's #4 in my Celestial Pose series! I was inspired by that gesture in Disney's Aladdin when Aladdin is up on the roof with Jasmine and he gestures out at the city below them when they are up on the roof or on the magic carpet. It has been awhile since I last saw that movie. I intend to make a See this view! pose that points the other way too. This was another challenging pose because of the arm that points out. The arm would look disjointed. It's like you have a cloth wrung out and you want to loosen it. It took me an hour or so to unwring out the arm. I'm pleased with the results. And the outfit was from the She Wants Revenge closing sale. The jewelry was included in the outfit. It's an Adored outfit. It came in blue, purple, red, and black. You need to go to Hayman , all outfits are 10L. Hurry! But the pretty pumps are 80L, sorry ladies. I really liked them, but I think I have enough shoes. And a bit

Provocative Pose and Picnic rug released!

Hi lovelies! I finished Provocative pose today and uploaded it! It took me days. The problem was the distortion around the elbows. That's if the joints look like they're poking out of the sockets. It just shows as black or brownness on the avatar. You don't see bones. Lol. It just looks ugly. After a million tweaks it turned out like in the pic. Then I polished the picnic rug.I have 4 cushions and 3 poses in each cushion: star gazing, picnic sit, and lying down cradle. It's set at 150L. I might upload another flannel texture maybe a blue one. I'm not using MLP, just a script that detects several animations in a prim. It's great. Take care y'all!
