Can't remember to forget you...and Prism Designs

Hello there, I am back with another pose. I'm finding that I'm creating faster. The most time consuming part besides putting together the look is setting up the shoot. I need to decide how I want to shoot. Then later I look for a font. I like the variety of fonts I can choose from. My newest pose is Can't Remember To Forget You....song is sung by Shakira and features Rihanna. It's an upbeat, soulful song. They sing well together. Both ladies are sexy and have distinctive voices that are instantly recognizable. The song is about not remembering to let a man go. The woman is just so used to the man that he has become a part of her existence. She would do anything for him. You can feel how protective she is of him. With this pose, I wanted to show longing and frustration as well as a bit of sexiness. Her hip is tilted to one side, as she leans on the post. I keep forgetting I should let you go  But when you look at me  The only memory is us kissing in the moon

Cinderella Beautiful and sad love

Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a good week. It's nearly March and with any luck, winter will soon be over. This winter has been so harsh and cold. This latest pose is a romantic, sad couple's pose. It's called Cinderella Beautiful and it's inspired by the Peter Cincotti song of the same name. The song tells the story of a man who is reminiscing about the beautiful lady who he never got to be with. They started out as friends and then they went their separate ways. It just wasn't meant to be. I thought long and hard before I created my interpretation. The man is bent down on one knee and holds her hand. She lets him hold her hand, but she won't look at him. Maybe she still cares about him, but she just doesn't want to be with him. Like April snow blowin around in Gramercy Park The two of us were never meant to last You left your traces and drove away like a circus in town A three-ring show that comes and goes too fast The best of f

Desert Rose 2...sensuality

Hi lovelies! I'm back again with a second desert pose, Desert Rose 2. I want to make a Desert fatpack. I know I haven't  really had any fatpacks. Doing a series is hard, in my opinion. I have so many ideas and they aren't all related to each other. This time, I will try to focus. Sting's song is one of my favorites and I think it's a great stepping off point to start with. There are so many complex emotions in it and I want to try to get at some of those emotions. In dreams, she teases and seduces him with her eyes, her clothes...her very essence. Her body undulates in her slow, sensual dance. She revels in her body and her ability to affect him so. The Desert Rose 2 package includes the silk handkerchief that I'm holding in both hands. I made it myself using 2 prims. The texture is from Pixel Cats, I'm not sure if they are still around. I bought it maybe two years ago. Eventually, I want to build mesh props. I do not know how to build mesh yet,

Desert Rose and worth the wait

Hi everyone! I am so proud to present a brand new pose. It is Desert Rose. The song that inspired this pose and the shoot was the song of the same title by Sting. Since hearing this song over ten years ago, I have been mesmerized by it. The melody, the instruments, the beat....the vocals...it just makes for a phenomenal song. Sting sang the song with Cheb Mami. It was in his album, Brand New Day. That album is one of my favorite albums of all time. The sound is just incredible. The music video for the song is breathtaking and exotic. I tried my best to recreate the mood. The song is about dreaming of love and wanting it so much. It's filled with awe, frustration, desperation...and so many other deep emotions. The way Sting and Cheb sing, it really tugs at my heart and always will. This desert rose Each of her veils, a secret promise This desert flower No sweet perfume ever tortured me more than this And as she turns This way she moves in the logic of all my dreams This

A thousand years

Hi everyone! This is my latest pose just released before Valentine'd day 2014! And it is my very first couple set ever dedicated to this special day. To me, it's not just about celebrating love with a partner, it's about celebrating the love you have for yourself. A wise friend said to me one night, "If you don't love yourself, how can you expect anyone to love you?" He is so right. Those words really shook me to the core and I knew I needed to take care of myself, not just care a lot about what others think of me and what they expect from me. The song that inspired the pose is by Sting. His vocals are so soulful and the lyrics in his songs are just so poignant. The story behind this pose is that even years from now, a man will still look at his woman so tenderly. He is crouched on the floor and she is sitting with her back to him. You can see how close they sit and how their hands and arms are entwined. She looks up at him like she knows he wants

Bring me to life (wake me up inside)...

Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing splendidly and keeping warm and safe, if you're in the USA. It has been such a harsh winter for us. I have never seen a winter of this scale in years. If you're in a warmer place, please send some sun and warmth to us. When it's really cold I sometimes say, "If it gets any colder , I'll become a vicsicle." Haha. That probably sounds corny but my family finds it amusing. My newest pose is Bring me to life, the name is from a song...Evanescence's Bring me to life. I've always like that song. The vocals are amazing and really heart-wrenching and soulful. The rapping was done well and adds intensity and pain to the song, rather than take away from it. The song was brilliantly arranged and recorded. Even today, I get chills when I hear it. To me the song is about feeling dead and numb inside. There is just so much pain inside and there doesn't seem to be a way to escape it. I totally love the gothic fon

Somebody to love...find me

Hey all! I've been hard at work and I have a new single pose for you. I call it Somebody to Love. Valentine's day is coming up so I thought I'd do a love themed pose. Also, ::Just Darling:: has a few new Valentine dresses. I am proud to present this new pose for Valentine's Day. I love how it turned out. Isn't it just adorable? This pose is inspired in part by that world famous song by Queen. It is one of the best songs of all time. The way Freddie Mercury sang it, it was just so passionate and earnest. An outstanding rendition of the song was sung by Brittany Murphy in Happy Feet. I wanted to honor their lives and give homage to a spectacular song that still captivates us to this day. It still calls out to us, deep down in our souls. May its legacy live on through the years ahead. We all need someone to love. We all work hard. We all feel down on our luck at times. People try to get us down. There are always those that think we're crazy or stupid.
