Bring me to life (wake me up inside)...

Hey everyone!

I hope you are all doing splendidly and keeping warm and safe, if you're in the USA. It has been such a harsh winter for us. I have never seen a winter of this scale in years. If you're in a warmer place, please send some sun and warmth to us. When it's really cold I sometimes say, "If it gets any colder , I'll become a vicsicle." Haha. That probably sounds corny but my family finds it amusing.

My newest pose is Bring me to life, the name is from a song...Evanescence's Bring me to life. I've always like that song. The vocals are amazing and really heart-wrenching and soulful. The rapping was done well and adds intensity and pain to the song, rather than take away from it. The song was brilliantly arranged and recorded. Even today, I get chills when I hear it.

To me the song is about feeling dead and numb inside. There is just so much pain inside and there doesn't seem to be a way to escape it.

I totally love the gothic font I used in my product image. Font hunting is now one of my favorite activities when I'm on my laptop. There are so many free ones out there and all are wonderfully made.

The sim is LEGION. This sim is a town called Calico. It looks deserted and I'm alone in the dark woods, by the water. It's a rundown town and the windlight was so dark I couldn't see where I was going. So I set windlight to midday to find a spot to shoot at. Below, I used a brighter windlight.

The textures and everything are really well done. I will definitely come back here for future shoots.

I'm showing off a new dress from ::Just Darling::, Rylie. It is the rare dress in the Gacha machine in the main store. I've already gotten 2 compliments about it. It really is classy and pretty.

What Vic is wearing:

hair: D!va Rena Type A
dress: ::Just Darling:: Rylie dress in Ombre
shoes: Essenz Buenos Aires in cream

You can find my pose at marketplace here.

Have fun and enjoy the art!

And Happy Valentine's day, if I don't update again before then.

~Vic

Making a return to blogging

Hi lovelies! I am making a return to blogging. It has been awhile and I know I have missed it. But I knew I needed to focus on my self improvement in the world where I am the typist. Lots of things have been going on in my life. I will not be blogging like before. It will be an infrequent thing but a much needed process that allows me to be creative. It is a type of escape from the rigid requirements that real life can impose on us adults. I have recently created a new shape for the Lelutka Nova head. It is a pretty cool mesh head. Lelutka keeps on improving their mesh heads.  I named my shape Alex . https://flickr.com/photos/victorialenoirre/50906268631/in/dateposted/ Really loving how it turned out. I think my shape creating ability has improved a bunch. After my current class ends in May, I want to start creating shapes for the Lelutka Evo X heads. I am excited to try one out. Take care, V. On the Edge of Something

Hi lovelies! I'm back with another fashion blog post. I present, Zetta, a dress from SlackGirl for the June round of WEIB. It's a monthly sales event that sells items that come with appliers. The taxi for WEIB is here . This is such a lovely shade of teal. There are appliers for TMP, Slink, Belleza, and Maitreya. The dress comes in 5 colors. Teal, black, red, black and pink. Her photo is here . I am wearing the Maitreya version. The applier layers are in the Maitreya loader HUD. There is a separate package with the skirt panels and system layers if you don't want to wear a mesh body. This is such a sexy dress. I feel like a vixen. The Return of Victoria Lenoirre and a new pose!

Hi lovelies! Sorry I've been away so long! My trip was great, but afterwards I got sick. I recovered sometime last week and I finally got inspired to create again. My newest pose is called Stay. It is based on the Rihanna song which features Mikky Echo. I'm really proud of how this photo turned out. I like the water effect a lot. The purple and blue tones create and intensify a sadness that I felt in the song and in the official music video for Stay. Waves come and go and do not stay for more than a minute. The setting for this photo is probably one of the best places I've taken a photo at. Great how that worked out, isn't it? Here's what I wrote at marketplace: A sensual, tender pose inspired by the song Stay by Rihanna. It's such a sad song about wanting to be loved and not wanting to be left behind. I tried to capture that sense of wanting to hold on and not letting go with this pose. Arms are bent into the body, one hand on one arm. The other h...
