A December Hunt...

Hey there!

Fabulous news! Variposa will take part in a cool Christmas hunt! It's called A Night Before Voodoo hunt. It's hosted by Allyson Dwyer of Something New poses and  Jἀḱḛ VσσĐσσ кησχ  (jakefromst8tefarm). The starting point will be at Club Voodo.

This is very exciting for me. I have never been in a Christmas event before. Call me lazy or whatever but I didn't feel like participating before. This year I just feel more motivated. Maybe it's because I'm studying business and accounting now. *shrugs*

I have been working for the past few days on a pose just for the hunt. I joined the hunt last minute but I knew I could come up with something.

The pose is below and will be available inworld soon. I may even put it up on marketplace after the hunt ends.

Thanks to the lovely Jenjen Sommerfleck for letting me use her land for this shot. If you would like to rez at her place, please IM her inworld. The forest was built by Felix. I darkened the background in Photoshop and painted in the purple smoke (not the best, but I think I did all right). I also painted in the nipple covers using the colors on the arm bands. The outfit by *LUAS* does have a top but it was an Omega applier and I could not wear it since I'm wearing the Omega applier TAOX tattoo.

I have never worn a tattoo for a photo so I wasn't sure I'd like the result. This tattoo is just awesome though! It works with Maitreya, Belleza, Slink and Omega appliers. It is a tribal tattoo. I could not find a voodoo or skeleton type tattoo that would work with this outfit. I love how this tattoo is a full body tattoo. It goes from my chest to my legs. I will definitely post more photos on my flickr of this detailed tattoo.

Come to think of it, I should've worn a face tattoo. I will wear one next time. I was in a bit of a hurry to get this product texture done though.

About the outfit, it looks more Native American than African voodoo but I chose it because I liked the headdress and the fringe skirt. I really wanted that tribal, wild look.

I really like this outfit. The detail on the skirt and especially on the waistband was really pretty. I love the belt. Everything came with a resize script. It came in handy because for this pose, I had to resize the bracelets to make the bracelets drop down a bit due to the positioning of my hands and arms.

However, this outfit does lack a few things. I would've liked it more if it had come with anklets. I went barefoot for this shoot and wore my SLink high feet. The ankles just felt so naked without matching anklets to complement the bangles. Oh and also, rigged mesh nipple covers or an actual mesh top would be great for those who want to wear an applier tattoo with this outfit. It just feels more authentic with a tattoo, you know?

Enjoy your shopping and until next time! Credits are below!

Making a return to blogging

Hi lovelies! I am making a return to blogging. It has been awhile and I know I have missed it. But I knew I needed to focus on my self improvement in the world where I am the typist. Lots of things have been going on in my life. I will not be blogging like before. It will be an infrequent thing but a much needed process that allows me to be creative. It is a type of escape from the rigid requirements that real life can impose on us adults. I have recently created a new shape for the Lelutka Nova head. It is a pretty cool mesh head. Lelutka keeps on improving their mesh heads.  I named my shape Alex . https://flickr.com/photos/victorialenoirre/50906268631/in/dateposted/ Really loving how it turned out. I think my shape creating ability has improved a bunch. After my current class ends in May, I want to start creating shapes for the Lelutka Evo X heads. I am excited to try one out. Take care, V. On the Edge of Something

Hi lovelies! I'm back with another fashion blog post. I present, Zetta, a dress from SlackGirl for the June round of WEIB. It's a monthly sales event that sells items that come with appliers. The taxi for WEIB is here . This is such a lovely shade of teal. There are appliers for TMP, Slink, Belleza, and Maitreya. The dress comes in 5 colors. Teal, black, red, black and pink. Her photo is here . I am wearing the Maitreya version. The applier layers are in the Maitreya loader HUD. There is a separate package with the skirt panels and system layers if you don't want to wear a mesh body. This is such a sexy dress. I feel like a vixen. The Return of Victoria Lenoirre and a new pose!

Hi lovelies! Sorry I've been away so long! My trip was great, but afterwards I got sick. I recovered sometime last week and I finally got inspired to create again. My newest pose is called Stay. It is based on the Rihanna song which features Mikky Echo. I'm really proud of how this photo turned out. I like the water effect a lot. The purple and blue tones create and intensify a sadness that I felt in the song and in the official music video for Stay. Waves come and go and do not stay for more than a minute. The setting for this photo is probably one of the best places I've taken a photo at. Great how that worked out, isn't it? Here's what I wrote at marketplace: A sensual, tender pose inspired by the song Stay by Rihanna. It's such a sad song about wanting to be loved and not wanting to be left behind. I tried to capture that sense of wanting to hold on and not letting go with this pose. Arms are bent into the body, one hand on one arm. The other h...
