Save me...and feeling helpless

Hi all!

I am glad to be back once again with a new pose. I will be creating more regularly now that I have an internet connection once again.

For awhile I have been feeling hopeless and like I wanted to be saved. Save me pose is partly inspired by the song, Save me by Remyzero. The song was the theme from Smallville. That show started out great but somewhere down the line it started getting weird. I don't know...maybe when Jimmy Olson was killed off I began to lose interest.

Anyway, the song has always struck a deep chord in me. I felt the pain and helplessness in it....that overwhelming urge to be saved by a hero/heroine and just fly away. At some point in our lives, we want to find escape and peace inside ourselves.

If we just reach out and ask, help will come. Being silent and moaning in our heads never helped. I am the brooding type and I know that I can only get better if I tell another person that I'm not feeling okay. It is okay to admit when we're not feeling good about ourselves.

If you notice, I have included two angles of the same pose. I couldn't decide on which angle I liked best. The beauty of a pose and in photography is that you can look at it from different angles and it'll still look great. This is true especially in SL.

Here is the song:

This is one of the most difficult poses I have ever made. SL avatars don't stretch well. I hope someday that will change. So I did have to edit around the crotch area. I use GIMP so that means I had to use the Iwarp tool, in Photoshop it is the liquify tool. SL still hasn't improved the look of the avatar, I hope someday they do.

As always I attach my style card:

hair: EMO-tions Windblown in black
lingerie: ~Blacklace~ Kiana White Bridal Mesh Corset set
Slink mesh hands casual
Slink mesh flat feet

Have fun and enjoy the art!

On the Edge of Something

Hi lovelies! I'm back with another fashion blog post. I present, Zetta, a dress from SlackGirl for the June round of WEIB. It's a monthly sales event that sells items that come with appliers. The taxi for WEIB is here . This is such a lovely shade of teal. There are appliers for TMP, Slink, Belleza, and Maitreya. The dress comes in 5 colors. Teal, black, red, black and pink. Her photo is here . I am wearing the Maitreya version. The applier layers are in the Maitreya loader HUD. There is a separate package with the skirt panels and system layers if you don't want to wear a mesh body. This is such a sexy dress. I feel like a vixen. Making a return to blogging

Hi lovelies! I am making a return to blogging. It has been awhile and I know I have missed it. But I knew I needed to focus on my self improvement in the world where I am the typist. Lots of things have been going on in my life. I will not be blogging like before. It will be an infrequent thing but a much needed process that allows me to be creative. It is a type of escape from the rigid requirements that real life can impose on us adults. I have recently created a new shape for the Lelutka Nova head. It is a pretty cool mesh head. Lelutka keeps on improving their mesh heads.  I named my shape Alex . https://flickr.com/photos/victorialenoirre/50906268631/in/dateposted/ Really loving how it turned out. I think my shape creating ability has improved a bunch. After my current class ends in May, I want to start creating shapes for the Lelutka Evo X heads. I am excited to try one out. Take care, V. The Return of Victoria Lenoirre and a new pose!

Hi lovelies! Sorry I've been away so long! My trip was great, but afterwards I got sick. I recovered sometime last week and I finally got inspired to create again. My newest pose is called Stay. It is based on the Rihanna song which features Mikky Echo. I'm really proud of how this photo turned out. I like the water effect a lot. The purple and blue tones create and intensify a sadness that I felt in the song and in the official music video for Stay. Waves come and go and do not stay for more than a minute. The setting for this photo is probably one of the best places I've taken a photo at. Great how that worked out, isn't it? Here's what I wrote at marketplace: A sensual, tender pose inspired by the song Stay by Rihanna. It's such a sad song about wanting to be loved and not wanting to be left behind. I tried to capture that sense of wanting to hold on and not letting go with this pose. Arms are bent into the body, one hand on one arm. The other h...
