New year, new stuff...Look at Me pose

Hey lovelies/Variposers, I hope that you are enjoying the new year and enjoyed or are enjoying the rest of your vacations. It is nice to relax a bit before resuming the usual routines. Now to present to you my latest pose, Variposa Look at Me pose. It is a pose for women. I wanted to create something sultry and hot. And this pose fits the bill. She looks over her shoulder, arches her back a little, thrusts her chest out a bit, and looks at you from the corner of her eye. She is daring you to look at her. The mesh curtain is from Rustica. I love how detailed the folds and wrinkles are. The shading is excellent. Hair is from ARGRACE, Hikari. It really looks like wet hair. Lingerie is applier lingerie for the Maitreya body. The head is the CATWA Catya Bento head. I am wearing the amara beauty Jade applier with a shape that I have created. I like being able to change the shape of my face. New release, Long hot summer pose

Hi lovelies! I hope you all had a fun, joyous summer! I know I am sad to see that summer is over. It was a hot one, wasn't it? School has started up again. I will try to post here as often as I can. I finally got around to uploading the Long Hot Summer pose, it was in a fashion post I posted months back. It can be found here . I will have it at my inworld store soon. You can come see the new store building here . This pose is just expressive. She enjoys the heat but she also is extending her hand out to feel rain and the relief that it brings. Cool water can ease our suffering and revive us. I really had fun setting up the shot at Black Basalt Beach. It has become my summer escape place. Where is your escape? Wherever You Will Go new release..

Hi everyone! I am finally back with a new release. RL has been busier. I've gone back to school. It's nice and weird at the same time. This new pose is for the men. I think those who model men clothes will like it most. It will look good in your photos. The name of this pose is from the song by The Calling. Do you remember that song? I heard it when I was younger so you might be able to guess at my age. There was always something so soulful and touching about the lyrics and the voice of the lead singer. It's a wistful, sad song that seemed fitting because of how the eyes of the model are looking out of the photo...that pondering look. I like the posture and stance of this pose. Another plus is that there wasn't any odd distortion of the clothes. The only fix I did was on the Slink hands, just to make them look smoother. I love the hair and how it has  that tousled look. There is a messy version in the pack too. I almost wore it for this photo. I will use i...

Feeling Good pose and about Pose Fair

Hi lovelies, Pose Fair ended on the 3rd. Turn out this year was great. However, I didn't feel like I got enough visibility. So I plan to take part in at least one other sales event this year. Hopefully I will appear in a few more blogs. I just finished a new pose, a request from a client. I hardly do any pose requests but he was kind and I thought I'd give it a try. I renamed his pose, Feeling Good. To me this pose shows the confident, curvy woman and how comfortable she is in her own skin. She feels really good about herself. I believe in women being assertive and being very sure in their ability and in who they are. It's hard to be yourself when there are so many pressures and demands imposed on us in our daily lives. But somehow, we all do find out who "me" or "I" am. Why? Because we cannot separate the ego from ourselves, it is so deeply ingrained in our sense of self and in our consciousness. I hope all of you, women AND men can feel good...

A thousand years

Hi everyone! This is my latest pose just released before Valentine'd day 2014! And it is my very first couple set ever dedicated to this special day. To me, it's not just about celebrating love with a partner, it's about celebrating the love you have for yourself. A wise friend said to me one night, "If you don't love yourself, how can you expect anyone to love you?" He is so right. Those words really shook me to the core and I knew I needed to take care of myself, not just care a lot about what others think of me and what they expect from me. The song that inspired the pose is by Sting. His vocals are so soulful and the lyrics in his songs are just so poignant. The story behind this pose is that even years from now, a man will still look at his woman so tenderly. He is crouched on the floor and she is sitting with her back to him. You can see how close they sit and how their hands and arms are entwined. She looks up at him like she knows he wants ...

Sexy action pose this week!

Hey people! I finally finished my newest single pose. It's called Stormy Weather pose. It is my first action pose. This pose is inspired by all those sexy heroines who know how to kick butt and fly! They rock! Editing was difficult. Maybe I'll redo it sometime. But for now, it's good enough. Her entire outfit is silver, but I really wanted the light above her to be shine on her clothes so her top and pants look a bit greenish. For this photo, I combined two photos: a photo of my avatar and the background with the lightning and the lake. Making it look seamless was my challenge. I'm not sure I got it right but I think it looks okay. The hair is from EMO-TIONS. You got to love the windblown hairs Mirja Mills created. I think I have them all. You can find my sexy action pose  here on MP. Thanks to all who follow me and encourage me. You inspire me to keep doing what I do and I love what I do. Thank you from the depths of my soul. Have fun and enjoy the art!...

Chivalry and tenderness...what a lady deserves

Hey lovelies! I'm back as promised and with a new pose or poses I should say. I had been planning on just one but then I went to the Glitterati inworld closing sale and I got inspired...after seeing Katey's awesome and really cute and hot couple poses. I forget which one inspired me but I think they all did. So I give you my latest and second couple pose set ever from me! I really struggled with taking pics. My computer crashed! But I did manage to get two photo shoots in. The top is from my second photo shoot. The bottom one is from the first photo shoot. I love the days when there were knights who had lived by a code of conduct. One of the rules included being kind to the ladies and protecting their honor. I see this pose as being reminiscent of that time period. The man holds the woman gently in his arms, his knees are bent and one knee sinks into the ground. She has fallen down perhaps or fallen asleep and he will set her down gently on the soft earth or o...

Celebrate summer and my latest pose!

Hi lovelies! I am back with a new pose. It took a bit longer than I had planned, but it is now done and released inworld and on marketplace. It's a cute, breezy pose inspired by one of my favorite songs. The pose is called Sway With Me. As you know the song goes, "Sway with me, stay with me". To me this song is about love and that carefree feeling of love. If you haven't heard it before, you should. Such beautiful lyrics and the rhythm....really makes you want to dance! It is fitting for any season, and it is great for the summer. So excited was I to release Sway it that I did not realize until I was writing the description on marketplace that July 4th is this week! It is such an important day in the history of the United States and....it is my rezz day as well. I turn 3 in SL. Thanks to all my friends and supporters who believe in me and keep me going through easy and hard times. I love you all!  My new shop inworld Marketplace Have fun and enjoy life!...

Rugged Sea in Lady Victoria's Creations

Hi lovelies! I'm back creating again. This is my latest male pose as promised. I apologize for the wait. Rugged Sea pose is about a man sitting by the sea on a sunny or turbulent day. He is lost in thought, but relaxed. He looks confident and comfortable with himself, despite his surroundings. I love how this came out in GIMP. The dark gray cloud, the glittering sea. If you look closely, you'll see the 2 seagulls in the distance. I hope you all had a great Easter weekend! Have a great weekend! Have fun and enjoy SL! My first male pose created today!

Hi lovelies! I am pleased to present my first male model pose...Stylish Gaze pose. At first it was called male side look, but then I opted for a more descriptive name. I know how hard it is to find good male poses that aren't in a couples set. And not a lot of pose makers focus on male poses. So I'll try to do my best and create some good male poses that you will like. I want to diversify. Stylish Gaze is about a man who is proud and confident with himself, his body, his looks. You can tell by his poise...the set of his jaw and more. I really hope you like this one.   The man in the photo is a man I just met today. I asked in a group if anyone wanted to pose for me  for a male pose. He IMs me and we meet up at this nice city sim. And he is so friendly. He said he thought the pose was stiff and he said "strikes a dramatic pose". And I just cracked up. If you take photos, you know how hard it is to take photos while you're laughing. Hahaha. Such a nice gu...

Quietly Sensual

Hi lovelies! I hope you're enjoying this last month of summer. It has been a scorcher, hasn't it? Hopefully, you've all managed to stay cool, keep hydrated, and stayed safe! I've been quite busy. So I give you my very latest pose. Quietly Sensual. It is a casual standing pose for use in photography. It looks good in many angles. As always, I took a lot of shots before picking my fourth shot for the product texture. Here are some more shots: This pose is great for standing on the beach with tousled or windswept hair. The hair is from Emo-tions from the Windblown collection. It is Windblown II. It's a fabulous collection. Shooting with this pose was fun. I enjoyed it and I hope you like this pose as much as I do! You can try it inworld here . Have fun and enjoy the art! - Lady V Go here Go Back To This Site
