Hey lovelies! I am proud to present a new pose for the men - I haven't forgotten about you. I just needed to find inspiration. This new pose is Sugar pose, inspired by the Maroon 5 song, Sugar. I just love the melody and beat of that song. Who else but Adam Levine could croon and make that song sound so suave? This is a great casual pose for males. With head held high and the body tilted to one side and legs planted wide apart, this pose exudes confidence and masculinity. Feel like a conqueror in this pose. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Happy belated July 4th! I forgot to say that in my last post. I wanted to show off one of the bikinis that I bought this summer in SL. There are some really nice ones out there. Summer is a great time to relax in the sun and enjoy fresh air at the beach. The great thing about SL is that beaches in here can be vacant, not crowded like in real life. Eye makeup is Meyla is dark blue by SlackGirl. It comes in 8 smoldering, lustrous hues. So here is my closeup. I have a cozy lounger and touselled beach hair, The lounger is from The Loft from the June round of collabor88. It is so nicely textured. Hair is from Damselfly at the July round of FaMESHed. I feel like my avatar spent a day on the beach as the wind blew her hair off her face. Hey, I'm back from a short break. I needed to focus on midterms. I aced both and am waiting to hear about the third one. :-) Can you believe that summer is halfway over? I can't! I LOVE summer! Summer in the city is one of the best summer songs I have ever heard. The beat and the tempo makes you feel the movement and bustle in a true city, without the noise from traffic. Hi there, Blogging or just writing for me is a struggle and a journey. Nothing worthwhile comes easy. I want to thank everyone who has accompanied me on my travels in SL. Hi everyone! How's life? I hope that you all are doing well and feeling okay. I'm slowly developing my men pose line. I have a few older male poses. I have become more aware that the number of men poses out there is quite small. I thought of the reasons why and I understand them. But it's frustrating to search for men poses out there if only a few brands make poses specifically for men. I'm going to try my best to create as many as I can. This new one is called Back At One. It may sound familiar to some of you. There was this song that came out in 1999, sung by Brian McKnight. The song was on his 5th studio album. Hey friends and followers of this blog, How are you? I've finally got around to completing another pose. I made this one and named it after a song I've always liked, This Girl is On Fire by Alicia Keyes. It's passionate and sexy. The chaise lounge is by Boudoir in white, Precious Restless did such a great job with it. I got it off marketplace . It has a resize script in it and I did a lot of resizing to fit my tall avatar on it. I scaled it down to .830000. Being able to scale a piece of furniture is really handy. I got the lingerie from the anyBODY event. The event is for those who want appliers for their mesh bodies: The Mesh Project, Wowmeh, Maitreya, Belleza, even Omega appliers. The lingerie I'm wearing is from MAAI and I have on the Omega appliers. It's a great event. Hi all! I am glad to be back once again with a new pose. I will be creating more regularly now that I have an internet connection once again. For awhile I have been feeling hopeless and like I wanted to be saved. Save me pose is partly inspired by the song, Save me by Remyzero. The song was the theme from Smallville. That show started out great but somewhere down the line it started getting weird. I don't know...maybe when Jimmy Olson was killed off I began to lose interest. Anyway, the song has always struck a deep chord in me. I felt the pain and helplessness in it....that overwhelming urge to be saved by a hero/heroine and just fly away. Hi lovelies! I'm back again with a second desert pose, Desert Rose 2. I want to make a Desert fatpack. I know I haven't  really had any fatpacks. Doing a series is hard, in my opinion. I have so many ideas and they aren't all related to each other. This time, I will try to focus. Sting's song is one of my favorites and I think it's a great stepping off point to start with. There are so many complex emotions in it and I want to try to get at some of those emotions. In dreams, she teases and seduces him with her eyes, her clothes...her very essence. Her body undulates in her slow, sensual dance. She revels in her body and her ability to affect him so. The Desert Rose 2 package includes the silk handkerchief that I'm holding in both hands. Hi everyone! I am so proud to present a brand new pose. It is Desert Rose. The song that inspired this pose and the shoot was the song of the same title by Sting. Since hearing this song over ten years ago, I have been mesmerized by it. The melody, the instruments, the beat....the vocals...it just makes for a phenomenal song. Sting sang the song with Cheb Mami. It was in his album, Brand New Day. That album is one of my favorite albums of all time. The sound is just incredible. The music video for the song is breathtaking and exotic. I tried my best to recreate the mood. The song is about dreaming of love and wanting it so much.
