Animation Creation

Hi lovelies! Guess what? I have started making animations. I'm working on 2, both are custom animations. The most challenging one is a belly dance animation. It must be sultry, sensuous...and realistic! I'm using Qavimator. I'm still learning Blender. Fortunately, I know a little about belly dancing technique. It helps me to watch youtube videos, but I also know how it's supposed to look when I try the move myself. What animator doesn't try the pose/animation while they're creating? When I finish, I'll put it in a animation stand at my store. I'm so excited to see how it'll turn out! Just a cool illustration I found by googling belly dance. Go Back To This Site

Moody Sit and Monday Midnight Mania Group

Hi lovelies! Did I mention I'm in the Monday Midnight Mania group? Well if I didn't, I apologize. I have posted a few of my poses in that group a few times already. I think I joined the group last month. It's a great group owned by Kiera Seda. I'll post the group URL later. This monday, Moody Sit will be available for 30L! That's less than half the regular price! So come over and see it. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Salt%20Creek/177/229/22. If you like it, then purchase it. Have fun and take care! Lady Victoria's blog is becoming syndicated!

Hi lovelies! Days ago I filled out some forms to be added to some SL feeds. I'm so excited! I've just been added to the SL Chic Critique blog! There should be a linkback at the end of this entry and a link for them is on my sidebar. Oh happy day! I'll write to you soon! Go Back To My Site

Unveiling Moody Sit

Hey Lovelies! I released my Moody Sit pose a couple days ago. It's a ground sit that I originally made for a client. Both legs and crossed and you can see that the woman is leaning forward. But, her head is raised a little. Come to my shop in Salt Creek and try it. I hope you have fun trying it out. I had fun making it. Any feedback is welcome. Here's the link again if you'd rather insert it into the URL bar in your own browser: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Salt%20Creek/177/229/22.

Animation in Blender?

So many people probably recoil in fear when they hear the word "Blender" as in the sculpting 3d program that you can get free from blender.org. It is hard to install and it's even harder to use. But all is not lost. If you look for blender tutorials, you can find some really helpful ones. Lately I talked to a fellow animator who said I should try to use Blender to create animations. So, I will try. It seems somewhat easier than what I had expected. So if I don't release anything soon, you can be sure I'm struggling in Blender. Mesh is coming to the maingrid, Agni, and I want to know how to create with Blender by then.I still don't fully understand about mesh, but what I'm hearing is that it will be more expensive to upload mesh objects. Here's a link to a blog by Nalates. If I can handle GIMP and SL viewers, I think I can handle Blender. :-)

Happy Rez Day to Me!

That's right, it has now been a year for me in SL. On this day at 11pm Eastern time I rezzed in Morris AKA Ahern. I was new, lost, and awkward. I was surprised when a woman, now a dear friend, IM'ed me and started helping me out. I had walked by her at least twice. Her IM's stopped me in my tracks and then others around her started to IM me also. While I haven't heard from them since my first week, I still talk with her regularly. I don't know if I'd be in SL if it weren't for her. Days later, she showed me her sim. I was so amazed and awestruck. And I still am. Her sim is my home in SL and I am always struck by its beauty and the tranquility I feel there. I've met so many more helpful people since that night. Not all have been nice, but I have certainly learned a lot. I have learned building basics, how to get along with others in the virtual world like the code of conduct in SL (no pushing, no griefing, how to AR people etc), how to create my own stuff
